þƵ is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Spring Break kids’ camps in Penticton, bringing innovative and engaging educational experiences to local youth during the upcoming break.

For many families, activity camps are more than just a way to keep kids active during the break — they’re an opportunity for growth, learning, and confidence building. For Isabella Tamayo, Camp þƵ provided exactly that.

Last summer in Penticton, Isabella attended the Survivor and Babysitting camps where she discovered new interests and developed valuable life skills in a hands-on learning environment.

“Camp þƵ provided Isabella with a safe and supportive space to explore her passions and gain independence,” said Omar Tamayo, Isabella’s father. “As a parent, it’s comforting to know that Camp þƵ is a place where kids can grow, learn, and prepare for their future."

Parents in Penticton can now give their children the same experience with Camp þƵ's inaugural spring break program. There are three camps being offered this year including:

  • Jr. Ready, Set, Go Kart (for children entering grades 4-6 in fall 2025)
  • Explore the Trades (for children entering grades 4-6 in fall 2025)
  • Meddling with Metal (for youth entering grades 7-9 in fall 2025)

“This is an incredible opportunity for Penticton families to provide their children with fun, educational experiences during spring break," said Kristine Clarkson, Camp þƵ program coordinator. "Our camps are designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and create lasting memories."

Parents are encouraged to act quickly, as spots are expected to fill fast. Visit  for full details and registration or contact Warren Edis at wedis@okanagan.bc.ca to secure your child's spot in these exciting Camp þƵ spring break camps.

Thanks to the certification she earned through Camp þƵ’s babysitting camp, Isabella has started caring for young children in her community, earning money that she is now saving for her future. “The experience helped her develop new skills and inspired her to take on responsibilities that will benefit her for years to come,” said her father with pride.

Part of  Continuing Studies and Corporate Training department, Camp þƵ has been delivering exceptional summer camps across the region, providing educational and engaging experiences for youth since 2004.

Summer Camp þƵ details and schedules will be available online on Monday, Feb. 24 online at okanagan.bc.ca/camp-oc with registration opening on Mar. 4.
