2024/25 Outbound Mobility
International Education would like to introduce you to exciting cross-cultural exchange programs offered by our partner schools.
Eligibility
To be eligible for our outbound mobility programs, พรพรสำฦต students must:
- be enrolled in an พรพรสำฦต credentialed program as a full-time student (9 credits) in good academic standing; AND
- will be continuing the program in the following semester after coming back from the exchange program; AND
- successfully submit their online application by the deadline; AND
- have a passport or will be able to get one 4 months before departure for the host country
Please note If you have accessibility needs, we suggest that you communicate your needs to the (Accessibility Office) before applying for an exchange program. This will provide us with an opportunity to assess which programs may be a good fit for you and explore avenues to ensure that your particular needs are met.
Costs
Tuition: Payable to พรพรสำฦต for the courses receiving transfer credit
Additional: Living expenses, housing (some host institutions may cover the housing costs with a scholarship), local transportation, meals, textbooks, medical insurance, and personal spending.
Flight grants are available to all outbound students.
Financial Assistance
พรพรสำฦต students who have been accepted into an international activity, study tour, or exchange program and are seeking financial assistance for the cost of their airline travel can apply for an . Students enrolled in a credentialed study exchange program who successfully applied for and received the Airline Travel Grant may also be eligible for .
Program Availability/Details
UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific)
University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) is a consortium of Higher Education Institutions and partners, collaborating to increase opportunities for study abroad across the Asia Pacific region through a variety of short and long-term in-person and virtual exchange programs. พรพรสำฦต is a member of UMAP and พรพรสำฦต students can study abroad through UMAP at 200+ member institutions in 24 different countries. UMAP has a broad network in the Asia-Pacific region, and there are many unique programs offered by its members.
Program:
Program A is an exchange program through which UMAP participating institutions send and receive up to two students with tuition waivers each semester.
Program B is a negotiated bilateral exchange between two institutions that have agreed to exchange more than two students per semester.
Program C consists of short-term programs of one to eight-weeks, for which tuition may be charged.

Program overview: The Summer Session at J. F. Oberlin University is a four-week intensive program in the suburbs of Tokyo. Courses offered in 2025 will be some business, cultural and Japanese language courses, all of which are developed from courses that are already part of JFOU`s regular curriculum. Each course allows participants to have first-hand experience through not only theoretical study, but also field trips and lectures by guest professionals. Upon completion of each course, participants will be issued an official transcript from J. F. Oberlin University.
Fees: Program fee, application fee, activity fees, and housing cost are waived for พรพรสำฦต students. Flight grants may be available for all พรพรสำฦต students.

Program overview: Japanese immersion program is offered where students can be fully immersed in Japanese culture by learning beginner Japanese language and participating in various activities and filed trips such as Hiroshima during this 16-day cultural program. There is no prior Japanese language skill required.
Why participate in this program? This program give students a chance to learn about Japanese culture and be immersed in it. It is more a cultural field school rather than the academic one. This program is for non-credit.
Fees: Program fee, application fee, activity fees, housing and meals are waived for พรพรสำฦต students. Flight grants may be available for all พรพรสำฦต students.

Dates: Global Village -June 18 - July 4/Academic Program - July 4 - Aug 1
Program overview: Dankook's International Summer School allows students to take academic courses instructed by international faculty or faculty from Dankook University. Participants may transfer credits earned during the four week program. Most courses are instructed in English, and students have opportunities to join many cultural events and field trips in South Korea. Academic students have an opportunity to join a paid English language teaching internship. Korean language classes are also available for those interested in learning the Korean language.
Fees: Students need to pay the program fee (1800 USD) to the Dankook University (application, student fee, accommodation are included). Students need to pay for extra activities(optional). Flight grants may be available for all พรพรสำฦต students.

Program: Students will participate in (EAS) where classes taught in English, and can enroll in any EAS classes regardless of their Japanese language level. This program aims to helping students gain intercultural competence, develop their talents, and contribute as global citizens. The fundamental educational philosophy of Musashi University is chi to jissen no yugo (the fusion of knowledge and practice). This philosophy underpins the EAS Program, where we feel students deserve a comprehensive educational experience in and out of the classroom. Simply put, the classroom is not conned to Musashiโs campus; it is Tokyo, the Kanto region, Japan.
(see Semester II): Course offerings typically include subjects in the fields of business, economics, foreign policy, history, media studies, politics, religion, and sociology.

Students must come back in December to start their semester at พรพรสำฦต in Jan 2025.
Program: Located in the warm climate of Kyusyu, Japanโs Southern region, Nagasaki International University (NIU) offers a selection of courses for exchange students. One distinct aspect of NIU is its specialization in hospitality, where students will be able to take part in the traditional tea ceremony. NIU practices the Chin-shin Ryu style of tea ceremony, also known as the samurai style, which originated in the Naa1702 in the Nagasaki region, it is now practiced in areas throughout Japan. Through tea ceremony practices, students will gain a unique insight into Japanโs rich history and culture.

Program: Students will participate in where classes taught in English, both international and domestic students enroll in classes to deepen their understanding of the global society from two angles- Japan from the world perspective and the world from Japanโs perspective. Students can enroll in classes regardless of their Japanese language level.
: Japanese Language Course (JLC) and Global Japan Studies Course (GJSC). GJSC classes explore a wide range of topics related to contemporary and traditional Japan - business and society, language and culture, and special classes with hands-on experiences.
